Apple Cider Vinegar-Spirulina Rinse & Mask

Using vinegar on you skin helps to replace the skin’s natural acid mantle and it dates back to Cleopatra, as one of her beauty secrets.

Directions:

Wash your face. Mix 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (I use unheated vinegar) with 1 1/2 cups of purified water and ½ cup of Hawaiian Spirulina tea*. Use this as a finishing rinse on your skin. It’s cleanses and rejuvenates the skin, tightens the skin, and helps replace the skin’s acid mantle after cleansing.

To make it into an Apple Cider Vinegar-Spirulina Facial Mask, mix ¼ cup apple cider vinegar with ¼ cup Spirulina tea (warm water mixed with spirulina) and ¼ cup plain yogurt mixed with 1/3 teaspoon Spirulina (add enough yogurt-Spirulina mixture to make it into a paste to apply to your face and neck). Double the recipe if you want to include the décolleté and back of hands. Let it dry and rinse it off.
