A:  The best way to keep Spirulina fresh is to store it in the refrigerator.  If you have saved one of the other jars from a previous order then you can use it to re-fill from the 5lb. bag.  We use amber glass jars to minimize the exposure to light, and we also use special, tight sealing caps.  We recommend using a smaller jar to minimize opening the bag and exposing the Spirulina to oxygen.  It’s a good idea to store both the jar and bag in your refrigerator or freezer.
