This summer, Nutrex Hawaii has put together a highly skilled canoe team to help us spread the word about Hawaiian Astaxanthin, which is an amazing antioxidant that has been shown to support joints, tendons, skin, cardiovascular, eye, and brain health, among other benefits. The powerful antioxidant also has been shown to reduce inflammation after strenous exercise.
Our Nutrex Hawaii canoe team will be participating in events that are going to be hosted by The Hawaiian Sailing Canoe Association, in support of the association’s mission: to encourage the learning, reviving, educating, and practicing of ancient Hawaiian Skills.
The Hawaiian Sailing Canoe Association
The Hawaiian Sailing Canoe Association is a non-profit organization that uses the sport of sailing canoes to fulfill its mission to spread the practicing of the skills and values of Hawaiian culture. As part of their mission, they host a variety of educational and sailing events that take place throughout the year. They also host an annual racing series that connects the Hawaiian Islands to each other. All events are open to the public, and 100% free to attend.
The major racing season for sailing canoes begins on the Big Island in April, and then continues through the summer months, ending in Kauai in September. Along the way, the fleet of sailing canoes will make stops on the islands of Maui, Molokai, and Oahu, as well.
Team BioAstin: Canoeing to Spread the Word
Made up of members of the Nutrex Hawaii family, Team BioAstin will compete in multiple sailing canoe events throughout the year, helping the Hawaiian Sailing Canoe Association in its mission to champion Hawaiian culture while simultaneously spreading the word about Hawaii BioAstin Hawaiian Astaxanthin and its properties and health benefits.
Team BioAstin and Nutrex Hawaii are proud to be a part of the Hawaiian Canoe Association’s efforts to revive and preserve Hawaiian culture.
Where to Catch the Team and How to Get Involved
The 2016 Hawaiian Canoe Association schedule will host ten races in 2016 that are set to begin the last week in April, and then will later conclude with the Kendall Cup race along the South Coast of Kauai on September tenth.
Team BioAstin will compete in many of these races alongside other iconic Hawaiian brands like Maui Jim Sunglasses and Kona Brewing, among others. If you’d like to get involved with the Hawaiian Canoe Association, be sure to check out their website here.
