Q. Why should I take spirulina and astaxanthin?
A. Both these product offer a wide range of health benefits. In naming just a few, you are providing support to the immune system, brain, cardiovascular system, skin, joints, and eyes. Both should be taken by any health concerned individual looking for simple ways to drastically improve their level of health.
Q. How many times a day should I take BioAstin Hawaiian Astaxanthin?
A. The recommended dose for spirulina is 3 grams and the recommended dose for astaxanthin is 12 mg. For these particular two products, the Hawaiian Spirulina may be taken 3 times daily and BioAstin needs to be taken only once daily.
Q. Do I need to take BioAstin Astaxanthin and Hawaiian Spirulina with food?
A. It is recommended to take astaxanthin with food because it helps to improve the absorption rate. Spirulina is considered food itself and does not need to be taken with other food unless desired.
Q. Can I take either product before bed?
A. Both may be taken any time of the day. Many notice an energy boost upon taking spirulina that may impact sleep. It is recommended that spirulina be taken at least 4 hours before bedtime.
Q. If I have never taken either spirulina or astaxanthin, can I still take the full recommended dose?
A. Yes. The recommended dose for both products is safe even if you have never used them before.
Q. Are there any side effects of taking spirulina or astaxanthin?
A. There are no known harmful side effects to taking either product.
Q. Can I take both products for as long as I want without taking a break?
A. As long as the recommended dosage is followed, both spirulina and astaxanthin may be taken as long as desired. There is no known benefit to cycling them, but you may experiment yourself and see if you experience any benefits.
Q. How long until I feel the effects of spirulina and astaxanthin?
A. Because Astaxanthin is a fat soluble antioxidant, it requires time to build up in one’s system. Results vary, but noticeable results are usually seen between 2-6 weeks. Spirulina’s effects are more likely to be noticed sooner.
