Spirulina Pesto

No need for store bought pesto anymore - this fresh pesto recipe has only 6 ingredients and takes just 5 minutes to make!

Makes 2 servings

Ingredients:

- 3 cups fresh basil leaves
- 3/4 cup whole unroasted almonds
- 1 tbsp Hawaiian Spirulina powder
- 1 clove garlic, roughly chopped
- 1/2 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
 

Directions:

Pulse basil, almonds, spirulina, garlic, and ½ tsp sea salt in a food processor to combine. Add oil gradually, processing until mixture is finely chopped, about 1 minute. Pulse in lemon juice. Add to your favorite pasta and serve.
